Community/Environmental Projects We Support
- Coffee mugs - (that you can’t even sell at garage sales or give away) used by Ottawa Mission
- Egg cartons - used by local Food Banks to give out eggs by the dozen (they receive eggs in larger quantities)
- Eyeglasses are delivered to Medical Ministry International for distribution to developing countries
- Margarine containers & lids - (1 lb. size or smaller) used by Food Banks to give small amounts of detergent
- Milk bags – are made into Sleeping Mats, delivered to Canadian Food for Children and shipped to development countries
- Milk & bread tags – community project in Eastern Ontario - Plantagenet High School
- Pop tabs - are delivered to Clifford Bowey School, Ottawa for disabled students
- Used postage stamps (please trim 1/8-1/4 inch around stamp) – ONE USED POSTAGE STAMP FEEDS ONE HUNGRY CHILD FOR ONE DAY. Forwarded to Redemptorists Mission Stamp Burse who in turn send the raised funds to Canadian Food for Children
